Show me your tanks after 1 week of no scraping.

Last week I decided to stop cleaning the tank for a week to see what the results would be. I think I'll leave it a little longer to see, but for now this is the 1 week mark.

oh boy. this is a good one. are we talking to half scrape the tank to see the comparison? I know I would have an incredible amount of pods adhered to the glass on the large tank, the Bio32 would turn green with lots of snail tracks.

Wow, maybe I'll consider reaching this mark and see how it goes.

It is a good idea to clean only half of it on cleaning day to see the difference.

Do you plan to clean it now or leave it a little longer?

I usually do a razor scrape every two weeks. It is currently two weeks since then. I just did the mag float last weekend and the more permanent algae has taken hold.

I can't go a week or I won't be able to see in the tank. After 3 days its a mess and the water is filthy with all the crap that scrapes off. I usually scrape every other day. I have 3 tanks running all a bit different in how I run them but they all get dirty glass just the same

Just curious how deep your tank is front to back. I also use reefbreeders but only one row on my 6’x2’x2’ tank along with some reefbrights. I notice most of my acros want to grow towards the center of the tank under the photons.

I’d love to have two rows like yours.

I scraped the front this morning

The ends were scraped day before yesterday. Kinda sucks with magnetic frag racks. I've already scratched the glass moving them to scrape.
