Snowflake vs Gold Spotted Snake Eel in Reef

I'm wonder about people's experiences with these two eels in a mixed reef. I understand that either will pick off he occasional invert or small fish, which I'm fine with. How do they compare for ease of care?

Spotted snake eel is more reef safe and in my experience more active and fun. Snowflake is prettier though

Well I ended up going by a LFS after I posted that question and they had a beautiful 10-12 inch snowflake. It’d been there a month and was eating well so I decided to go for it. He’s eating like a champ, and so far has paid zero attention to any of the fish or inverts. I know it’s too early to tell if that’ll stick lol. He found the pvc I set up within a few minutes and I’m super stoked on the interaction and personality.

Snowflakes are super chill. Keep them fed! Mine is actually my sweetest eel, she likes to swim around my hand actually
