Definitely some kind of worm under there at least I’d think that after the last set of clearer pics. Maybe a kind of Eunice ?

No all Eunice are vicious brutes. And it’s only a guess
I think you meant NOT.....?

I was kind of thinking that was what it was with an earlier pic of the "tentacles".
I agree not all are vicious but with how that one, if it is one, is laid out, I am thinking ambush predator. Now its just a guess as if it is one and how big does this one get.

Oh, i did not realize, phew... so it could just be a beautiful 3 foot long worm! Lol

It does look a little more innocent than a bobbit. I can't see pincers and they are tentacley looking. Which would lean towards a filtering worm.

Could be a trick of the camera or angle but that has me a little worried.

Yeah.. they could be blending in with the tentacles when it is fully open. It does lay flat on the sand Like it is waiting for something to walk by and touch it.... My emotions are everywhere. Lol

Can you scoop it out with a net?

It is either attached to the bottom of the tank or more likely it runs to one of my rocks..
it is in a really difficult spot to scoop. My desk is on the side of the tank and it is in that back corner. The spot is also the closest my rocks get to the back wall.

I don't think so. None of the pictures show it opened up as big as mine is. It is about 1.75" in diameter.
