Hey all I have a red sea reefer 350 and i hooked up a UV via its own pump. The pump pulls from skimmer chamber to return but the water level in the return chamber increases significantly and the other chambers (skimmer and fuge chamber) decreases. I added more water in the skimmer chamber to increase water level but that also increases my return chamber water level too which I don’t want.
What do I do to get normal sump levels back? Do I need to increase pump speed or adjust gate valve or do I wait for evaporation

Evaporating is going to raise salinity and lower the water level so I don't think that's a good idea. Maybe increase your return pump flow or open the valve to allow more water to flow back to the sump. Do you have an ATO. You may have to tweak the level that it it set at.

Increase return pump speed to pull the water from that chamber quicker & open the drain valve more to fill up the sump chambers quicker

I have the red sea ato so it doesn’t allow me to adjust the water level any higher

wouldn’t that just recycle the same water though
I put the pump upstream and the return down stream and isn’t the system closed, so in reality that’s already happening to some degree.

And if you want to prevent that plumb the return up and over and slow down the return pump.
