Well so far the tank has been running for 4 days, every day there is something new that climbs from under the rock, so far we've seen some sort of tiny snail slithering up the glass, a little orange starfish, a bristle worm and just a moment ago a saw what looked like the claws of a crab, it was dark blue and was scraping up the leftovers, it seemed to come from under a rock, any idea as to what it could be?
I don't think the tv has been turned on since we got this tank, I'm amazed :D

It's awesome isn't it!?

The crab could be any number of species. If you can get a pic of even the claws we may be able to help ID or at least let you know if it's safe or not.

Besides setting it up. Best part of the hobby. Watching it. Get yourself a cheap flashlight(not too bright) and look at it a couple of hours after the lights go off. A magnifying glass is fun too.

The diversity of the life that comes on the live rock is one of the reasons that I got into the hobby.
