I have a very localized aiptasia outbreak confined to within the tangled branches of my large anacropora. I can see a few, but worry there are many more buried within. I’m skeptical that berghia would live long in my tank with a leopard wrasse and 2 cleaner shrimp, but the anacropora is not encrusted (not sure they ever do) and would be easy to remove for treatment. Any reason I couldn’t put the coral into a bucket with a few nudibranch for a couple nights and let them go to town?

Any other suggestions for dealing with these clever aiptasia who have protected themselves within my coral?

I have a leopard wrase and 1 cleaner shrimp, my berghia are doing fine. I’ve seen Astria stars fish are eating the eggs though.
