teflon tape in sump?

The pump to my Aquamaxx zeovit reactor keeps coming out. very annoying. Is is safe to use a small amount of plumbers tape to keep it in n place? Open to other ideas also.

Great idea! I usually use black plastic electrical tape ( ... let the scolding commence...).
