Good morning, Heathens and happy Saturday!

I've still been chugging along with deferred maintenance. Yesterday was a looonnnggg day, and so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but I was able to knock out a few items on the "to do" list (pics and videos shortly). I should be all caught up with maintenance later on today, so there'll be videos and lots of coral pics posted. Until then, I hope you all have an amazing day on purpose!

Skimmer break down and pump maintenance:

I've said it before, and I will say it again: there is nobody in the business that beats Geo's Reef when it comes to build quality and customer service. Period. Full stop.

The mixing pump on my Kalk reactor seized so I reached out to @geo , and after he (very patiently) dealt with my dumb self (remember: I'm pretty, not smart), he knew what was up, and within 36 hours I had a brand new, upgraded ceramic impeller at my front door.

For note, when swapping out impellers on your pumps, always remember to prime the pump before thinking that it, too, was no good. Sorry, Geo- you're a saint among men.

I also broke down and performed maintenance on the main return pump, but when putting it back in place, I accidentally broke the barb that connects it to the manifold. Did I mention that yesterday was a long day? Anyways, I'm off to Lowes to procure the materials needed for the repair. Here's a video of my stupidity to keep you entertained until I return:
