K so keep it under 80?
I tried something similar, it didn't work well for me. I ended up with one at either end on the top. I've also seen them placed on the back blowing towards the front glass.K so keep it under 80?
I was planning on alternating directions, one aims forward, old longways. Then they pulse . Should get nice chaos that way.
I could do the back, blowing forward, but even then, there isn't much space before it's hitting the glass. I'll play around when I get it filled.I tried something similar, it didn't work well for me. All depends on the rockwork and growth.
I love the gyres though, still have a single powerhead due to a dead spot but the gyres move so much water. I feel they have to be cleaned a little more frequently though.

It needs more cleaning than I want to give it, but that could help the fish not get quite as smacked as they would otherwise.
I can always print something to make water go where I want it.
I've actually considered printing a flow deflectors for my gyres. I want them close to the surface but I get that whirlpool effect if they are turned up too high or too close.it's either the gyre (digger than needed), the nero 3 (smaller than needed), or I buy something. And I really don't want to buy something.
Back to front causes a lot of blowing sand in my non-professional opinion.I could do the back, blowing forward, but even then, there isn't much space before it's hitting the glass. I'll play around when I get it filled.

now to justify a multicolor printer purchase...Done, a little bit of bleed through on the black but not too bad. If I print them again I would adjust a few things to fix it.
Getting there. It's probably getting wet this weekend.Nice
