I feel like you might be feeling a little sick right now.... Maybe you should leave early?
i did leave 30 min early LOL

got home and DHL put the package right where i asked which is awsome. USPS, UPS and on track usually just leave it wherever they want.

just opened package and inspected the lights. Dang! These are tiny! when you see pics or videos you don't really realize how small these are until you have them in your hand.

they were packed really well and the optics look great. will post pics in the coming days of the mounting progress.

Ordered one yesterday! I've read so many good things about the light so I'm super excited to try it out as it will be my first lighting upgrade for my tank.

My two will be here tomorrow. Took just under two weeks. Don’t even have the new tank that they are going on yet but super excited for them!
that's no problem right? you can become an expert on programming and play with the fixtures until your tank gets set up

do you plan to use the brackets or hang them?

if hanging there is some decently priced 1" x 24, 36, 48 inch extruded aluminum rails that might be to your liking. I got mine on Amazon for 22 bucks and some baked finish black mending brackets.. i plan to use my current 4 way hanger on the new build when i finish it. I'll have my mitras in the middle and the Noops on the ends. I think it will look pretty good when it's all done.

They were super well packaged. But as someone else noted they were smaller then I thought they would be. They feel super well made. I will be using the tank brackets for them to begin with. Does anyone have a picture of how they look in a night time/moonlight mode?

Well finally started putting things together yesterday to get these mounted. Everything was smooth and easy. Will get more pictures up after work. I had these plugged in and set master/ slave just to make sure everything worked and all was fine. Simple programming! A few pics from yesterday.

Drilled the final holes to secure the mending plates

Mounted the mitras with nuts as spacers for better fan space.

Mounted the noopsyches with spacers to match the depth of the mitras and allow more fan space.

Trimmed the ends of the extruded aluminum down to better match the overall length of the fixtures then painted the ends.

You may have better luck but on the Noopsyches when I tried to mount them hanging from the center hole of the “claw” mine ended up cracking. I determined it’s because they were hanging and not pulled up tight to anything.

ETA- if it’s pulled up tight to the nut then it will probably be okay.

Wow, that's good to know. Yikes!
Hopeful I'll be fine. I used a soft Co2 compression oring with a wide nut between the mending plate and the piece you showed so it has some more surface area biting around that flange. Fingers crossed!!! Lights look great. Lots of pop last night. Even more than my mitras. I'm running a 17k program on the mitras.

I suspect as long as it’s pulled down to something you’ll probably be okay. Mine was completely hanging by the one center screw and within 2 days, 3 of the 5 had cracked. I changed my diy hanger to where I was hanging it from 4 screws going directly into the light and it’s fine now.

Question. I have two for a new tank build. If I add a third for a frag tank can I run the tanks in two separate schedules via the app?
Yes. You need to connect a different light each time. There is no K7 PRO III light 1, K7 PRO III light 2 embedded program in the APP

My new K7 V3 arrived Monday. Got it setup and spent today getting my settings dialed in. I'm very happy with it so far. Really makes the colors in the tank pop and the corals seem more open and happier so far.

will there be any future update in the software to enable this?
If this is added, it will occupy more running memory and the power consumption of the mobile phone will increase. But yes, we will still consider to enable this.
