I have an orange back wrasse and Mckosker wrasse in a 90g tank , along with a couple clownfish, yellow tank, pjama cardinal, and coral beauty. I'd like to add an exquisite fairy wrasse. I've looked at the chart and they are not in the same box together, but unclear if they are 'far enough' apart. Would the exquisite fairy wrasse to be ok with the orange back wrasse?

I often wonder the same about my links. I set them at 2100p before hitting share, but no idea if other people get that resolution. I believe you about the potter's though! Bit jealous too.
Well one thing you wont have to be jealous about is C jordani as apparently they only live in a few reefs and none on big island

Jeanette, I believe the exquisite and orange-back should be okay. I hope they will; I hope to eventually add an exquisite to my C. aquamarinus, which is in the same subgroup as the orange-back.

Hello! I’m new to wrasses - would a Carpenter’s and McCosker’s be ok in a 6’ 120 gallon shallow reef with tons of rock & hiding holes? 3” sand bed. Other fish are a flame angel, purple pseudo Chromis, small blue hippo tang, Midas blennie and some damsels. Possibly a future yellow tang.

Planning to follow Jay H’s qt protocol - Anything I should know?

Sand not needed for these particular wrasses. But just wait. This is just the start of your wrasse adventure!

There is an interesting wrasse available quarantined at Fishotel:

Anyone know much about this one?
Looks a bit like a cross between a Stethojulis and a Thalassoma when its male. So it could be difficult and aggressive. My type of wrasse

@JoJosReef
The ID for that wrasse is incorrect. It's not H.hartzfeldii, which looks quite different.
I'm like 99.9% sure we're looking at a young female Parajulis poecilepterus. This is a fairly large wrasse found around japan and china. Females get to around 15cm and males can reach about 20-25cm. They're one of the nicest looking wrasses in the ocean IMO. I'm not sure about their temperament, i know females act as cleaner wrasses in the wild. I might remember reading that they can be a bit aggressive on a japanese site, but i might be misremembering. Either way i imagine they act similarly to Halichoeres, might harass smaller wrasses. I would love one for my tank, but i have a lot of big bruiser wrasses.
@Slocke
I don't know what you mean by that. I have to say i disagree, i don't think it looks anything like Stethojulis or Thalassoma, and i don't think those two genera look alike either. I also don't know what the other part means, Stethojulis aren't aggressive at all

I got my first ever wrasse today!! Labeled as exquisite fairy wrasse. Can anyone confirm, and maybe even tell me what region its from?
I think its an exquisite. Looks a bit underweight though
