I was strolling through Amazon for grow lights and saw 2 of them with different spectrums and temperature, I saw some reviews saying that they used both of them together in high tech planted tanks and it seemed to work extremely well, one of the lights is 6500k and the other 3500k filled with red and blue spectrums but mostly white in colour, according to the par the more lights you put the more concentrated the par becomes, i thought of using 2 of each which in turn would be 4 for a 24 inch deep tank, would it work? The total wattage for all 4 lights would be about 80 watts

I thought of using 4 in total since one of the reviews had a similar sized tank which I have and I believe used the same number of lights

The tank will be filled with gracilaria's and caulerpa's

Their depth of measurement was 12 inches using 5 tubes. These are not ideal for deep tanks.

Buy them if you want, but I wanted to say no so there you go.

I believe that the more tubes you use the more the par increases, they did another test of where about 7 tubes increases the par to more than 200mols, do you think that if I add about a inch of substrate and keep the macro on top of the rocks would it work? I can raise the macro to about 6 to 8 inches in height which would make the macro about 18 or 16 inches deep

I believe I found this really promising because this is about the only lighting company which actually mentions it's par level compared to other more expensive brands from here

I'd check out the quanta helix reef crest daylight. I think it would look nice.
Beautiful looking lights but I can't get them here unless I import them which would most likely double the price Lol, I live in india hence the harder it is to find good equipment which aren't inflated due to import taxes

Too much red if you will also have coral.
I agree. There’s too much red, which can actually hurt corals:
