I suppose it really depends on a few things:
what size tank? what are you hoping to grow? There are quite a few lights available for smaller systems. Is it better/more powerful than them in any respect?

What are you hoping to do with the light? It definitely will not grow corals. It will be sufficient for fish.

It's a 10 gallon tank. It mainly has soft corals. Gsp, Kenya tree, other ones I don't know how to name.

Oh. Ok. I have gsp, Kenya tree and other things. I was told it would be good for softies but not stony. What light would be rec. It's a 10g and budget friendly offers.

I wouldn't bother with this light.
Too late. It was a budget friendly option. Don't bother cause it will not grow corals? Or why? The gsp and Kenya tree seem happy. I do have some other corals but I would not be able to name them. What is a good, budget friendly light? It's a 10g.

It will not grow corals very well on anything larger than a 2 gallon tank imo. You would need two for a 10 gallon. The par values are simply too low. There are plenty of other cheap options that work better. What price range are you looking for?

+1 on this light. I have a friend that is growing sps in a 20 gallon with two of these. The app is very easy to use as well. For less than $100 your tank will love this light.

I agree with the above on the noopsyche. You could also do two fluval nano reef lights for the price though a single noopsyche would still be more powerful and cheaper

my thoughts as well. Due to the challenge involved and people jumping in and out of it our hobby gives an amazing opportunity to find good deals on lightly used, quality equipment.
IMO Amazon is probably the worst place to buy reefing junk.
