This coming year I'm going to be moving from my 75g to what will probably be my final tank upgrade. I'm thinking of going around 240g, as that's about as big as the space in my office will allow. I've been thinking of going with the IM INT 240, as it's all prefab and they seem to have consistently good reviews. That being said, I've only heard good things about Glass Cages and doing a similar sized tank with a custom stand would be pretty comparable in price. Any reason to go with one over the other?

Well I’ll be an advocate for IM tanks as I’ve had two, both AIO however. Their build quality is quite good and they a a “rock solid” feel to them in my opinion. That being said Glass Cages does have a good rep too.

I’d say, if you want to customize it for a bit more buck, and don’t mind the work, Glass Cages. If you want a super good price with eurobracing, custom style acrylic sump, and pre fitted plumbing, then IM is a solid choice.
