Where do you source all of those waspfish from?

I’m based in the UK and shop all over the place for them. Most have come from AAC, ReefKeeper Windsor, Reefdreams and I have also imported myself.

She definitely does! I love that these are venomous. I’ve not kept one before - do they show their fangs much?

I had 2 large Black Lions and got stung removing one who died when my heater failed, I had him in a net and his body rolled and punctured my arm several times. Didn't really hurt that much but I was already ticked at him for dying. Had to call the posion hotline after my arm blew up and I looked like Popeye!
Hot soak in a sink full of dish soap. That and a motrin and all was good.
My Foxface got my wife and I think that was worse, had to take her to the ER.

How long did the swelling last?

How do you feed everyone? I have a few and some of them require direct stick feeding.

I can't imagine a goblin swimming up in the water column.

So it was hard to convert some of these to frozen. I did the usual method of skewering a live shrimp on a feeding stick and then slowly replacing with dead ones. Nearly all my fish will now eat off the substrate. The only one who is a bit fussy is the Rhinopias. That won’t eat off the substrate but will eat if something falls past its face.

The current goblin (and one other goblin I’ve kept) will swim to the surface seeking food when I turn the flow off!

Right now I have a huge volitan (who is getting rehomed) and a 8" magnificent foxface.

My antenatta is in QT until the volitan is gone. I want a scorp or rhinopias.

I wish Volitans didn’t get so big. I’d have one otherwise!

Holy cow! Those are beautiful fish but the group shot looks like something out of the mind of Stephen King. LOL Perfect for Halloween. I have a tiny Coral Croucher scorp. He's one of my favs in the tank. I would love to have more but my tank is just a 5g. I think the pygmy rooster waspfish would be great but is probably still a wee bit too big for my tank.

I had a foxface in my previous tank. I plan on adding one to my new tank, hopefully by the end of the year.

I had a foxface too but it had to go as it was constantly trying to graze on the sea goblins skin!

I have not seen one that small. Must be a tough bugger to survive shipping its hard enough to get healthy ones in as is.

All the beautiful stripes but none of the deadly venom!

Was thinking about adding some lions but this gal requires hand feeding and I'm too clumsy to risk it haha.

Never seen them pop out. It looks more like she has a parrotfish beak. I have been wondering though about the fangs. I kinda wish they were bold colors like the triggers can have.

how’s the coral croucher getting on? I’ve kept them before and always found them so hard to feed. I bet that’s much easier in a single species nano tank

My little Croucher (Waldo, as in Where's Waldo) is a model citizen. He's in a mixed thank with small gobies. I think to properly care for them they probably should be in a smaller tank for exactly the point you made.. tough to feed. Thankfully there is nowhere in my 5g that I can't see him so I just squirt food at him through a dropper. Fortunately for me he took up residence behind one of my upper powerheads so he's between the glass and the back of the powerhead so finding him and feeding him is easy but doing water changes is a pain because he's only about 2" below the surface. I keep my powerheads covered with protective mesh so at least he's safe up there and I can monitor his health very easily.

I have skeletor moray in with my scorps. They all hate its clumsiness at feeding time!

Sounds like you have a good one in the perfect tank for it. These often just disappear when added to a larger tank.
