The prices are unbeatable which makes me nervous. I understand that this is because most are wild caught or maricultured. Thing is that the corals I’m looking for are almost always wild caught anyway like acanthos, scolys, wilsonis etc. But I’m assuming these corals are pretty much fresh out of the ocean and colors may change, may be harder to keep alive etc. What are your experiences?

I haven't used them but they have a 72 Hour Guarantee. Wild caught are a little risker but cheaper and 72 hour guarantee is nice. Make sure to dip. This hobby is all about risk and success.

Yeah that’s the thing though, 72hrs just covers any potential shipping damage and is generous but it’d be longer term how they fare. Also the Wilsoni’s are tricky, some are low temp like 75F some are 78F. Of course the most colorful ones are the cold ones but they need to be very slowly acclimated up to 78.

I agree man i just lost 5 acros to my own mistake that were non wild. My nitrate and phosphates were way higher due to an old test kit. Happens do what makes you feel best lot of good deals out there. If you do just have everything perfect. Higher risk vs higher reward. Do what works best for you and report back.

I'm going to be placing a "large" order with them after the holidays so I'll report back as well!

I used to buy corals from them and everything is good. The corals arrive healthy and same colors as the one on the website and good size. But my experience is limited to softies and very few lps.

Yeah, with the acros, I hear even from the farmers that only 1/4 maricultured acros live long term but when they find some fantastic specimens they are willing to take the risk. I’m looking for large LPS though so I’m not sure of the success rate there.

Well that’s good to know. I’m only looking for LPS. Already have way to many small acro frags that won’t all fit when they grow into colonies. I figure not all of them will make it. Also I have a 120 gallon display in storage sooo when I have a place to set it up I won’t have that problem.
