What are some non-jumper fish you'd be comfortable with going lidless?

I think most fish will jump when a door slams or a kid taps on the glass and they are startled. I don't think I have seen a tang or a butterfly jump unless they are startled. Lights coming on also might get them jumping.

I once lost a blue tang due to jumping. I didn’t know until one day I opened the tank canopy and saw a dried dori. Sad.

I admit that this was definitely a freak accident and not something that will happen to most tangs.

Probably best practice to use a lid, of course.

its less about the type of fish but more what stimulus the fish is under that'll cause it to jump. if the tank is crowded, for example, or if it's a new fish that's being chased or bullied, etc.

I had a sand-sifting goby jump out even tho it's suppose to be a bottom dweller, b/c my clowns were being jerks and was chasing it around.

Title says it all! I understand clowns have relatively low likelihood of jumping. Any others? Any angels that would stay put?
I ran without a lid for about 4 years before losing a fish - and it was a clown of all things. During that time, I had a yellow tang, hippo tang, 2 clowns, a cow fish, lawnmower blenny, blue, chromis, cleaner wrasse, and bartletts anthias.

All fish can and will jump. Other than the major risk fishes like wrasse that have vertical spawning and flight behavior, I wouldn’t draw any significant conclusions about differences in likelihood of most fish.
