Hi Everyone. What's going on with my Foxface? It's about 2 weeks old in my tank and I noticed white spots. Today is the first time I noticed it and I look at these things every day. Unfortunately it definitely has more than just the one spot. You can see a bunch near the black dot. He was picked on at first by some existing fish so has definitely been stressed. I had him in a hospital tank in my display tank for a few days so that the other fish would get used to him. It has been better because he learned to

defend himself and they are tired of getting poked. I need help with diagnosing this and coming up with a plan of action. All of the other fish in the tank look fine and have been in there longer than this guy.

This looks like Ich to me. Odds are you have ich in your system and your fish are just immune to it. When the Foxface was stressed it lowered his resistance and made him susceptible to the ich.

Here is the concept behind ich management, which you have been practicing even if you may not realize it.

Here is the recommended way to treat ich.

I agree. This looks to be ich. You'll want to QT all the fish and leave the tank fallow (fishless) for 76 days. Though I'm not sure what the larger brown spot is below his black spot.
