What is this growth on my Blastos?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what this white fuzzy growth is on my Blastos skeleton? I think it is bothering it, it seems to curl away from whatever it is. It's not looking the best at the moment.

Should I try remove it? How would I go about it, maybe pull the plug out and try scrape it off then dip it?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yeh it looks like a mould or something. If it is a sponge would you just scrape it off? Is it harmful?

most are not harmful, good filter feeders. If you feel it is tickling and annoying the blasto, you can just scrape it off.
