Asterina star fish. Can present a problem if population gets out of hand. If it were my system, I would get rid of it, since I have witnessed some bothering my zoas.
There are many different species of the small stars that folks label ‘asterina’. Most are harmless members of your CUC, but occasionally folks report problems. In 35 years in the hobby I’ve never personally had a problem with them, so my view would be to do nothing and appreciate the myriad small creatures that populate your tank.
If they do proliferate too rapidly, you may be over feeding your tank. They are pretty easy to mechanically remove if it comes to that, and certain wrasses will eat them.
