Asterina star fish. Can present a problem if population gets out of hand. If it were my system, I would get rid of it, since I have witnessed some bothering my zoas.

I’d get rid of it. Some are zoa eaters and some aren’t. Don’t take that risk. Plenty of reef safe starfish available if you’re into starfish

There are many different species of the small stars that folks label ‘asterina’. Most are harmless members of your CUC, but occasionally folks report problems. In 35 years in the hobby I’ve never personally had a problem with them, so my view would be to do nothing and appreciate the myriad small creatures that populate your tank.

If they do proliferate too rapidly, you may be over feeding your tank. They are pretty easy to mechanically remove if it comes to that, and certain wrasses will eat them.

Great free CUC for me. Had them about 20 years now with many corals and plenty of zoas. I think they are cute and enjoyable.
