Just wanted to say this doesn’t exist, I believe you’re thinking of the Ricordea genua which has 2 species known so far, Ricordea yuma and Ricordea florida. Both are beautiful (Arguably, more beautiful than Rhodactis species are when they bubble up).Rhodactis Yuma
The best photo I have of my Yumas is an FTS… when they bubble up I do see a small resemblance between them and your Rhodactis however looking at where they are in the tank I’d say you definitely have a Rhodactis species. My Mushrooms have the elongated distinctive tentacles on the edge which I normally don’t see in usual Yuma or Florida.
And I am an “expert” on soft corals and mushroom.
Discosoma is a smooth skirt mushroom.Discosoma
These mushrooms are in fact rhodactis. Very clear picture.
So what species of mushroom or genus do you think? You either mistyped or else change you mind, I am not sure.Discosoma is a smooth skirt mushroom.
Rhodactis has the warty skirt. Forget ricordea. You're mushroom rock has 0 ricordea sp.
Yours are much more likely to be Rhodactis than they are to be Discosoma. So what species of mushroom or genus do you think? You either mistyped or else change you mind, I am not sure.
rhodactis mushroom 100%So what species of mushroom or genus do you think? You either mistyped or else change you mind, I am not sure.
Yes it is.
Yes, this is a Rhodactis and looks almost identical to the mushrooms @OrionN has.
