What was the one coral you loved in your tank, that died off

In my tank, we used to have a beautiful Duncan. It was doing great for a few months after getting it. However, we went out of town for vacation and came back to it not doing so hot; eventually, it died. I miss this plate coral. It had its ups and down. Started to recede in flesh then iodine dipped and bounced back. Only to repeat for several months. It eventually gave. I did keep it in the tank in hopes of babies coming off but nothing. Now I keep its skeleton lol.

Plates corals, LT plates, for sone reason do great for about 3-4 months, then overnight, poof.
Tried 6 Different times.
Now on my list of stuff that just dies

I had a large colony of JF Solar flare acropora a couple years ago. It was the size of both my hands, and the centerpiece of my sps display tank. It slowly stn’d over a few months. I fragged and fragged it, but all but one piece died. That piece is still stunted to this day.
