Looking to strengthen my biodiversity. Can you guys recommend me the best products for this? Looking to buy 2-3 bottles from 2-3 different brands to add to my tank.

A buddy just blessed me with 3 rocks from his old system. Hoping that will help!

Yeah bottled products are not guaranteed to have things that will reproduce in a tank long-term. However, rocks and sand almost certainly will.

Live rock for the most diverse eco system has always worked for me.
150lbs of GLR in my 150 gets me up and running with the ability to add corals in a few weeks.
Start and today at 10 months.

Funny you mention that! I have 10 bags of eheim substrate pro in nylon bags split between my 50 and 35. They started in my 150 and I can now use them after 10 months to seed other systems if needed. I always have a few bags in my sumps at all times.

Add corals from different sources. The more you add from different sources, the more biodiversity you will add.
What about dipping? Won't that pretty much strip most everything? Or are we talking microorganisms vs macro.

PS, I'm not perfect about dipping every coral... that's how I got flatworms... But I have gotten good stuff, too.

some of the micro organisms will be lost but it won't affect the bacterial diversity, each coral is loaded with its own unique sets of bacteria which to me is the most important to get the tank to mature faster.

The term biodiversity confuses me cause I'm not sure if it means in terms of micro organisms or bacteria.

Adn test reveal 100% sea bacteria... but for now hard to know if this still alive.
I hope for the best
Typically on the dr.tims , fritz, and whatever BRS recommends there will be a Best Buy date. The issues are how the product is handled. It has to maintain a specific temp range to maintain the life of the bacteria. I typically will order from the manufacturer if possible to ensure this gives me the best chances.

Perhaps obtaining rubble from different oceans as that might be easier to source and transport then live rock and likely the greatest biodiversity which likely not matched by any bottled products based off grown in a lab.
