I just received and opened this Red Sea Algae Control Pro kit. As you can see the outside of the box has the exp date as early 2027, and the reagents are end of 2025 or beginning 2026. Purchased through Amazon, should I return and try again with a different online vendor? Did I get someone’s return? Is this just typically how Red Sea tests are labeled?

Looks like someone is buying, swapping out old, taking new, and returning for credit.

This was my first thought.

Very strange to have the outer box expire later than the internal components. I’d return it or contact the manufacturer.
Attempting both. The form on Red Sea's site has a space for lot numbers, it only accepts 4 digit lot numbers, even though the example picture shows the placement of a 3 digit lot number.
