White fuzzy spots on face of black mis- bar clown

Noticed my black mis-bar clownfish has white fuzzy-ish spots totally covering his face. His behaviour is normal - no scraping, no gasping or anything weird. His appetite is good and the other clown does not appear to be affected. I have attached some pics and video. The first pic is to show the spots have a fuzzy texture.
Please advise.

Seeing the amount of slime on its face, clown seems to have brooklynella. The most significant sign is the amount of slime on its body which is noticeable on the fish. This mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. Other symptoms will be lethargic behavior, refusing to eat and heavy breathing from the mucus.
Start with a prolonged 60 minute bath of ruby rally pro then at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank. The longer the fish are exposed to the treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this issue.
Since a formalin solution is often not available for use, temporary relief can be achieved by giving the fish a FW bath or dip in water same temperature as display tank. Even though this treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with respiration problems.
Treatment is best done in a QT tank using either quick cure (more effective but now harder to find) or Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work.

While white mucus on a clownfish is often a sign of Brooklynella, that disease also causes other symptoms - rapid breathing, clamped fins, swimming oddly. I don't see that in your fish.

How long have you had this fish? Brook is usually a disease of newly acquired wild clownfish.

This looks like it could be the male of the pair. Maybe it has been sparring with the female? Also, dark clowns show mucus a lot more clearly than is seen on orange fish, can you get any hint of white on the other clown?

I’ve had him for about 4 months … the female was beating him up for the first few weeks so I had to separate them on and off until she finally accepted him. I don’t think I see any of those spots on the orange clown. I went back to where I got the clown to see if anybody else had the same problem - he was purchased from a big clown shipment- but apparently nobody else has the same problem. He was the only new addition to the tank in the past probably year. They recommended a freshwater dip… thank you.

They stopped selling meds at our fish stores in Canada… but I have an old bottle of Mardel Quick Cure?
