I have some time Wednesday i am going to cut the dead skeleton away. There is one of the tips with about a 4x4mm patch of life i will keep too for grins. Also i am kind of curious if it can/will grow and if so how fast.

Awesome news! One of the few times I will take joy in being wrong :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Hope is never mere, Elrond, even when it is meager. When all other senses sleep, the eye of hope is first to awaken, last to shut.
Those have been pretty good all in all. Been watching with my wife who is a LOTR nerd. Even she had to brush up on her Silmarillion lol.

To the chop shop my lad! These are the base and piece of living tip that was left on the skeleton. I tossed the rest. Looking rather chipper all things considered.

Update for October:
1000007400.jpg

Hasnt grown much, but hasnt receded any further either. Hopefully it is like a winter bear in the cave, saving up strength for when summer finally arrives. The little nubby looks exactly the same too, i imagine it may for quite some time.

Looks like it came down the plug slightly. I think you're in good shape.

1000007828.jpg

Looks like the green hue is getting deeper in color and growing!
Still havent mounted any of those poor other frags yet either... have another Battlebox coming and they may change where i want some of these. But, they are growing gang-busters!

Impressive! I always like to say that recovery like this especially is a song of a healthy system! Nice work. But hey I’d be more than happy to toss in a new one if you no problem.

Thank you, on both counts! Truely appreciate the offer, but I am kind of emotionally attached to this one now. Going to be one i can tell stories about when it grows up :)

I think it's very rewarding to save frags/colonies after a mishap.
I've done it to many times. Now I need to figure out how to not have the mishaps in the first place!
:)

Most of the tissue has a nice healthy green tone now and it might just be wishfull hope, but it looks like it is growing ever so slowly!
Looks like i have some turf algae to deal with there too.

Looks like those little bumps are going to start growing up.

Thanks for the updates!
