I have these in my 4'. Arguably, overstocked but my parameters are good and no aggression.

1 - One Spot Foxface
1 - Ornate Leopard Wrasse
1 - Melanarus Wrasse
1 - Blue Spot Puffer
1 - Diamond Goby
1 - Flame Angelfish
1 - Mandarin Dragonet
1 - Yellow Tang
1 - Tomini Tang
1 - Gold Midas Blenny
2 - Banggai Cardinalfish
2 - Orange Storm Clown Fish
Wow surprising.

My show fish. CB marine betta. He’s out all the time and will take frozen food from tongs.

I have a 75g display and have given serious thought to a Marine Betta. That said, I already have a Whitetail Bristletooth Tang, a One Spot Foxface and a Solar Wrasse in addition to a couple of clowns and Banggai.

I really wanted the Tang as my show fish. He is beautiful, but can be a bit of a, let’s just say “jerk”. He runs the tank despite now being smaller than the FF.

The FF is really cool, colorful - a bit of a skittish wuss for being the biggest fish in the tank.

But my show fish, IMO, is the Solar Wrasse - the colors are amazing and he’s a fun fish.

Reef safe? Will they eat coral banded shrimp?
Lol I would be surprised if anything ate a coral banded shrimp. Mine straight up pinched the hell out of one of my eels when she tried to eat him!

Marine bettas are amazing! I miss mine a lot. Very reclusive though, so just be aware you wont see it a lot at all

I've always thought of getting one. But I think the reccomended tank size is cruelty. Huge fish for small tank... What size is your tank?
Had one as well. Had him two years before losing him. Not sure why I lost him to be honest, but he was in my 70 gallon as a 3 inch fish. He moved to my 125 too then to my 300. He was about 5 inches when I lost him. Very slow grower. Hide almost all the time. Took like a year for mine to venture out in the daylight and not dart away when I was near. Here is mine in the 70 gallon tank.
