Quick shot of the fish room. Lots going on in here now. Using the tank over the work bench to store extra anemones until they find good homes. Also put in a work light so I don't cause the sleeping fish in QT to get up as much when I want in.

Also pulled the biopellets offline for the moment. Was keeping nitrates and phos too low.

Just got the new Olympus camera so I will try some underwater macro shots soon.

Turned one of the 40 breeders into a fuge and decided to try Kessils H380 over it.

Growing some red gracilaria(sp?) and chaeto.

I too recently pulled bio pellets offline. I was getting crazy cyano growth with it.

Odd. I wonder if you skimmer was getting all of the output sucked in? From what I understand it is basically sugar that would be going back into your tank if not skimmed out.

I am excited. They are so vibrant. The flash of red and orange/yellow they will provide to the movement in a tank full of sticks will be really great.

So, I want to add some more rock to the display in the back where it is just unused space. The marco rocks are all a little too normal and dense for my liking. Should I set up a tub for rock that I get and cook it for a while before I put it in the display? Or are there any other good options for rock that is safe to put directly in the display?

Lots of fun stuff recently. Will get some updated coral shots. Everything is coloring up nicely.

Something I wanted to share was my experience with the Kessil H380 over my fuge. I have never had a fuge before so I wasn't sure what to expect. In the few short weeks of have this light over a fist sized ball of chaeto, it is now the size of a basketball or so. The pods in the fuge are awesome to watch. Really enjoying having it. Short video with the light on.

Not sure I mentioned it before, but I was just admiring the @ArtFully Acrylic lid that I had made. It has lots if cuts around my overflow, sea sweeps, and sea swirls. Cut perfectly to match my drawing. Looks awesome and totally worth it. 2 feeding doors at the front corners for quick access. Even the wife gave it a solid thumbs up.

Getting things to color up and grow nicely on the plugs Some noticeable growth from the first set of pictures taken. Tried to keep them in a similar order as before so you can compare!

Glued everything in place today. Really not sure they will hold. Just went with gel super glue from BRS. Things look a lot smaller all spread out on the rocks

Have the emp angel in the acclimation box this week. Almost done with fish and this QT tank. Looking forward to pulling it apart for a while.

I will be in San Diego this week. Any awesome store fronts I should hit up while there?
