First we need to identify what that is. From the picture I can’t tell but it definitely does not look like Xenia. Try to take a clearer picture. How do I fix?
Those are blue clove polyps rip the rock out before your whole tank is covered like mine!

Yikes, those are going to spread everywhere.
yikesI started off with 1 sprig of it that was hidden on some zoas that disappeared one day. It actually detached and floated into a rock now I’m trying to nuke my tank to get rid of them
any other things to try that dont include taking rock out?Yikes, those are going to spread everywhere.
If it was me, I’d take that rock out and any rock that had it growing on it. Remove the Zoas and dip for a minute in 50/50 mix with peroxide and tank water in a separate container and rinse and inspect and lightly use a soft toothbrush to remove them from the Zoas.
ive got a LOT of inverts and a big ish kenya so i dont think thatd work, i might just have to take it outFenbendazole is what I’m doing but it kills snails and most other inverts as well. It will also kill gsp Xenia and most leathers.
But wouldnt that kill the zoa? That’s the safest bet take a hammer and knock that section off the rest just make sure you get it all since they send a root like str
ucture into the gaps of the rock
search for blue clove polyps here, then decide if trying to keep the rock is prudent or not. Everyone's different. How do I fix?
