December entry. Not noticed any height increase but as always it’s not afraid to show its polyps. My tank has a couple of braces across the top and not really thinking I originally placed it in the shadow of one. So I recently moved it directly under lights.

Forgot the ruler for this one but not much growth maybe a millimeter. Bubble algae is doing fine though. ‍♂️

These branches are the new growth since I got the frag early February. I’d guess 3/4” or so. Not great for 11 months but not terrible I guess. I’ll actually snatch it off the rock for an accurate final measurement.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
