I know you sell a 2 meter extension cable for sensors. Would there be any issue with using a longer cable for sensors? I want to mount by controller in a closet. An I would need a 5 or 8 meter BNC extension cable.

If you connect one BNC extender to another you can run 6 meters worth of cable, this also includes the length of the cable connected to the probe itself. Keep in mind that the longer the cable the greater the delay in data transmission.
