Can you post some pictures in white light? It looks like bubble algae or dinos at first glance.

Tell us a little about your system. Volume, hiw long you've had it, what your test parameters are (nitrate, phosphate)

Add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the morning and replenish the bacteria at night. It should be fine in two weeks.

Reefer 300L
Started in August last year
All my values are 0 (I know it's not the best, but I am adding fish, but it still stays at 0)

I have UV running 6 hours every night

I can clean it, but after a couple of days it's back.
Every day I use a net to clean the water surface.

Pictures attached in white light. It looks terrible :((((

Or add 75% alcohol 5/1
White vinegar 5/3
Saturate sugar with water 5/1
brew a can
100L plus 10cc
You can see the results within one week
Just add a little lactobacilli/yakult/yoghurt before starting
It is recommended that protein or pumped water can also increase the amount of dissolved oxygen.
I've tried nasal mucus, red mud algae, filamentous algae, and green algae, and they all work.

It looks like dino or cyano
According to liveaquaria the max temperatur for my fishes are 78 fahrenheit.
Should I really try to go up to 82 ?
Will that be okay ?

Before you go down the rabbit hole that is the treatment of dinos... you'll save yourself tons of time if you get a microscope and identify the dino species. They respond better to different treatments depending on species

I personally wouldn't raise temp until I identify first

That is Dino’s. Do not dose anything to the tank or raise the heat.

Just leave it alone. The fastest way for it to go away is leave it alone and wait probably 6-8 months.

The more you tinker / mess with it the more it prolongs it.

Here is an 8 year old thread with 12,000 posts and no cure besides time

Ok so don’t go adding random stuff to your tank.

This didn’t happen over night.

Take a breath don’t panic.

What test kits do you use?

do you use a skimmer?
Filter socks?

How often are you feeding your tank?

Do you have corals?

Can you buy a microscope to identify exactly what you have?

Otherwise it’s all a shot it the dark?

What is the flow rate through your UV light?

So these socks are 5 micron to help drastically reduce whatever that is you can suck it up and filter the water through the sock - but add your water back to the tank.

Are you on Facebook? If you are check this group out. There are a few write ups in the files that helped me. I actually pushed back my Dino’s with the filter linked above to a point that the beneficial algae is doing its job

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
