15-30 minutes. It's been much more time consuming the last few months as I've been scraping the algae off my rocks with a toothbrush. Slowly but surely making progress.

For 25 gallons probably around an hour. Depending on traffic it might take a little longer though.

I drive out towards the other side of the island to get NSW :grimacing-face:

Not long, 10 minutes maybe. The worst part of it is forgetting I switched the RODI on to fill up the bucket and then remembering well past the point of overflow.
Oh my God. I DO THIS ALL THE TIME!

On one tank about 30-minutes to an hour if I am hustling. . . all three tanks take me about two hours. . . but that is with cleaning the bottom and other maintenance stuff.

The quicker and easier you can make this task, the more often you'll do it! Am I right
What is this mysterious “water change” thing you speak of?

From start to finish, including all the testing I did afterwords, I'd spend about 2 hours every Sunday with water changes

Way too long. Some of the automated setups do make me a bit jealous. But they've always been my least favorite part. About 1.5 hours total to do all my maintenance on water change days.

Mine usually takes 2-3 days. Move trash can into living room. Start RODI. Half day to make water. Start adding salt. Start heating water. Test dose ALK. Usually over heat and have to let it cool.
Drain 30 gallons into sink ( 30 minutes). Clean glass, maybe citric acid clean wave makers, clean lids, refill auto feeder, usually frag some over growth. Refill tank. Swap socks. Clean skimmer. Wait 2 hours - run full set of tests. Put equipment back in garage. Manual doses if needed. Wait 3 days - send ICP.

Less than 10 minutes. Less than half an hour if you include the trip to the boat ramp to collect the water.

I run an AWS, so 15-20 minutes every two weeks to mix up a 50 gallon bag of IO.

40g water change on a 150g Tank... about 2 days...

1 day to prep salt and water, and about 2 hour to scrub rocks / glass / stir up sand, drain and fill.

About 45 minutes to do a 5-gallon water change on a 54 gallon tank. But that includes scraping the glass, blowing off the rocks, siphoning the substrate and cleaning the glass lid.

Not too bad, since it used to take me well over an hour when I first started reef-keeping!

I wipe the slimy film from all surfaces, scrape the base of my 2 corals, sift the sand, brush the rocks, rinse the purigen and porous matrix, change one gallon of water and then run the return pump until the water clears. Then I change the media filter. Then I polish the glass and lid. I don’t know why it takes me 1.5hrs to do that on a 7 gallon tank. But it’s maybe my 4th or 5th time doing water changes, so hopefully I’ll get faster.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
