Just curious for those with bigger tanks, in a 125-150, anyone have more than one tang? Just playing around in my head with potential stocking lists for a future tank and wondering if you only have one tang does it lead to more aggression towards the smaller fish. I really like powder blue tangs, but I think they need a 180 or more, but curious if there was only one could it be ok.
Not yet but will be adding a second eventually.

Those 3 and a hawk fish, flame angel, rabbit fish, I added a dottyback but I think it disappeared, and a clown. That’s all I’m thinking of at the moment
Nice. I'm playing around with what I'd like eventually to figure out cost for fish.

I'd transfer current stock of:
2 clowns
Starry blenny
Six line
Mandarin goby (female)
Springeri damsel

Larger tank stocking plans:
I'd like to have a school of something, so thinking adding 4 springeri
Powder blue tang
Tomini tang or kole, just some sort of bristletooth tang for algae control
2 flashing tile fish
Naoka wrasse
2 assessors (yellow or blue, don't care which)
Dracula goby and Randall pistol shrimp
Copperband butterfly
Mccosker flasher wrasse or some type of flasher wrasse.

This is awesome. I would love to upgrade to a tank this size. Are you building a stand?

Desjardin sail fins are my daughters favorite. They have one at the LFS that is super friendly and always comes to check her out, they are huge though.
My sailfin and foxface. Hard to get a pic because they're so fast.

I think my tank is 180 less whatever the rock is. Four tangs. Purple, Powder Blue, Hippo and Tomini. The Tomini was first in and then the other three all went in together. Tomini is about 3.5” and the other three are all over 5”. They all play nice with each other. Purple is boss and PB is sheriff. Hippo chases the Chromis.

Yeah..I don't know if you were telling me your stand is longer than 8 feet or asking why yours is longer than 8 feet being that it's a 120...lol

I do still have the dottyback! haven't seen it for 3 weeks or more till today, but there are a lot of hiding spots for a fish that small in my tank. could just see something moving under one of the hammers, nice to see it again. lol

Ok? Didn't mean to offend i just didn't understand the question..we just joke around round here. No seriousness or anything in what I said. If your asking if my stand is 8 feet..it is. 96x30x25 tank

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
