So I have some brown stringy algae growing over my substrate and irritating my Zoas, causing them to close. So, I snagged a microscope and here’s what I have. The little “dots” are swimming around under the microscope as well

Look like dinoflagellates

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
