And why is it not a green slimer? j/k...although I do love me some green sticks.

For sake of argument and given the rate of inflation the last couple of years lets call "cheap" something that is commonly available commercially for under $100. What you got? Pics get likes.

Garf bonzai has been a good one for me. Have some in every tank because I'm clumsy. My favorite tho is the one I bought from a $20 frag bin at the lfs. I have no idea what it is. It was all brown when I got it then it started to color up. This was the end of January

This is 4/20. I'm really enjoying watching it grow and color up. Probably doing better than any of the higher priced frags I have.

I got my 818 Tangerine Sky for $60, it's one of my favorite acros. I don't see it online for that price currently, but maybe sales will get it there. Super fluffy and awesome coloration, and I'm getting great growth out of it.

Here's progression shots since I got it last September.

I've honestly never seen a colony of this before. Love it! How is it under white spectrum?

I got an ARC Fireworks frag for $75 CAD and I really enjoy it under both my full daytime and also heavy blues:

This isn't my frag - I am at work - but the colouration looks just like this pic:

Not me but it looks totally different under white but I like the look. Probably one of the nicest ones I have under whites.
This colony is gone tho. It started stn so I cut it all up and have a bunch frags growing out.

Here is the Bonsai up top center, lit by metal halides. One of those corals that look good under any light.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
