Had the camera out today so took some pictures a little earlier than usual. Also noticed little to no growth so I measured parameters for the first time in a while.
Alk 5.6 :/ I’ll be bumping up the kalk dosing
Cal 410
Nitrate 0.02 I was just happy to have a reading it’s been 0 forever

It’s doubled in size since initial picture, growth is really picking up. Finally got my nutrients above 0. Consistently running 0.07 with phosphate dosing. I don’t test my nitrates.

Month 7 update. Seeing some encrusting starting up again, so that’s good. Still high Ca of 600+ despite lack of Ca input except 4L/day of kalk.

Month 6 update. Got the replacement trident and my stuff was messed up. My Ca was over 600, and then I had a push-click battery powered light fall into my sump overnight. I caught it the next morning while doing my shine doses, but it killed my 2 yellow tangs (Bip and Bop) and my contest Bonsai RTNed following the massive water change.

It's doing ok considering it was in a 55 on the floor for two weeks after a seam split.
