I built a screen cover for my rimless tank using aluminum window frame, BRS netting and 3D printed corners. I (stupidly) trimmed the mesh before test fitting and discovered that I pulled the screen a little too tight so one side is pulled in.

Any ideas on stretching the mesh?

I was thinking a heat gun and putting under pressure for a while. Any thoughts? Will it stretch? Melt? Do nothing? I need to dig up the heat gun, but I am open to other ideas that dont require new mesh.

I had that same mesh on my last tank. What I would do if I was you, and what I did for my current tank, is I went to a local fabric shop and bought mosquito netting for $1 a square yard.

Do you find the mosquito net blocks light? Seems like a lot more material over the tank, although thinner strands.
