Before and while I was setting up my 110Gallon I started a small 10 gallon QT tank. Started 11/13/2020, hit it with Fluval Cycle Concentrated Biological Booster, per directions. 25 ML first day, 10 on the 2nd and 3rd, also did an additional 10ml dose on the 4th day which the directions say is okay.
Had high ammonia in the beginning around a 2+, no nitrates and no nitrites.
Check periodically through the beginning of the week no changes. On Thursday I noticed a drop in ammonia and a rise in the nitrites.
I was using a Fluval test kit; I though it was strange how fast it was cycleing so I went out and got a Red Sea test kit. Based on the pictures below of where I’m currently at. What do you think?
