3D printed my own float valve holder to raise the water level in the sump because the pump is so strong that it’s sucking in air because the water level was too low ahah

That float holder looks great. 3D printers look like a lot of fun.
How much did you raise your water level?
I had to raise mine about an inch on a xl425

I raise about 4 inches of water in 150 gallon sump so quite a bit. This is because I need the extra water to acclimate fish and coral weekly. Also because my other float valve did not like the water level that low and it was killing my RODI resin

I 3-D printed a filter sock holder for my macroalgae reactor as well

This is where the magic happens. What does your sump look like and what do you run?

125 gallon sump (60”x24”x20”H)

From left to right:
Built in upflow algae scrubber
Five 4” filter socks
Vertex Alpha 300 Skimmer
Vertex GFO Reactor (hidden behind skimmer)
Biopellet Reactor (hidden behind skimmer)
Carbon Reactor
Macro Algae Reactor
Emperor Aquatics 80W UV Sterilized (yes I know it’s upside down lol)
1000W Titanium Heater
Float valve hooked up to RODI Flood Guardian hooked straight into 4 stage Vertex RODI with 3 extra DI chamber total of 7 stages
Reeflo Hybrid Barracuda Gold 6000GPH

To the left of the sump is my 400 gallon tank currently being used as a refugium until I hook up my 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank and 90 gallon fuge because I’ll be doing Triton Method.

I have some major cable management to do but it works for now lol. Future plans is to hook all the reactors into a secondary return pump as I expand.
