Its kinda funny but those lights are mostly used for growing pot.. its kinda funny but alot of the equipment we use for aquarium use can be used to grow things other than corals

It's an online auction of police confiscated stuff. One of my buddies got a lumenarc reflector off here for a buck. He did say that there were two unmarked cops watching his house the day UPS delivered it though.

For a system like that you may want to look into the air cooled reflectors and ballasts that sunlight supply sells though. I believe reef empire had a thread on here a while back detailing their install of them. I'll try and search for a link.


Hydrofarm, not Sunlight Supply. We use their movers, reflectors, ballasts, and fans, and love them. Lay your hand on the glass of a 1,000w halide that has been on all day, no joke. Works awesome.

Just got confirmation that the tank shipped out! It'll arrive early next week. :D
