175w 14k evc metal halides

i just purchased 2 of these bulbs from reefscience and was wondering if they have evc markings on them. the ones i recieved just say 175w 14k e39. are these the real thing or not?

What do they look like? How do they compare in color to say, the Hamilton 14K or a Radium or XM 20k?

I would say they're brighter than the Hamilton 14K(according to Sanjay's lighting study). And less blue than the XM 20K. These are GREAT lamps for the price. Best of all, if you are not happy with them you can send them back for a refund to us! You can't beat that level of service!
