They don't require them. you can't go wrong either way. One or two doesn't matter... IMO

For a 75, I personally, would recommend sticking with just one pair -- regardless of the number of anemones.

BTW -- unless you are talking about 2 black and white A. ploymnus, the black clowns would, most likely, be ocellaris.

I have 2oscelarius and 2 blacks I my tank. Not sure what you mean trex.

What he's trying to say is that the black clowns you have are a species of occelarris often referred to as Darwin's. they are still occelarris, they are just black in color. And if they're introduced around the same time they should be okay, it's still a chance. Look at liquid, he has a tank with 5 clowns and its thriving. Also I would recommend 2 anemones, just so they have a place to feel safe if they so choose to go into the anemone

What I meant is that 95% of the time the black and white clowns are ocellaris.

So, you have 4 total clowns? It might work in the short term (( less than 2 years )), but the odds of it working long term are very slim. Need to think long term, and not just what will work when the clowns are still juvis.

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
