Were moving into a new house at the end of the year and it has a “perfect spot” for a large tank.
After months of watching fb posts and looking in LFS, we found our new used tank.
Furniture grade stand and hood, 72x 24x 30

Added a trigger systems triton 44 sump.
Currently working on the plumbing (sending parts back and forth with brs the last 2 weeks as I ordered the wrong bulkheads.

Return is 1 1/4” from the return pump, will downsize to 3/4” to pass through the bulkhead and flow back into tank. Have 3 -3/4” ball valves to add additional equipment as needed. One will run my gfo and carbon reactors. Two are currently spares.

drilled the spare plate on my sump to take 1 1/2” bulkheads so I’m running 1 1/2” pipe from the over flow to sump. Main overflow pipe will be regulated via a gate valve with a spare overflow pipe at the water line as an emergency over flow.

had a spare current eflux 6011 return pump that is capable of 3075gph that will power my systems filtration and equipment.

Picked up a reef oct 202s skimmer. This skimmer looks tiny under the tank. Then again, the sump looks tiny to me in there too.
Will post updates as the progress happens.

future plans, getting 2 more gen 4 radion xr30 lights for it. Will be ordering 2 caraibsea mega caverns and 2-3 mega arches for it soon.

current stock list includes:
Male blonde naso tang (mate coming)
Male blue throat trigger (mate coming)
6 blue chromis
Cora beauty

Manifold design had to change due to length of pipe having to go into the return. As well as being lower like needed, wouldn’t work as the skimmer interfered.

Testing water tightness of plumbing.
All good except where I have threaded fittings as I haven’t siliconed the threads yet.

Finally into our new house and getting this moving along.
Just installed 2 separate dedicated 20 amp circuits for the aquarium.
The blank opening will be for 2 rodi lines that will do auto water changes. Just haven’t finished that one yet but will post pics once done tonight.
