At first it would certainly be too bright. Most of the corals you mention would stay closed up and the light might actually kill some of them. If you slowly moved the light closer to the tank over a period of weeks they'd adjust. However, unless you plan on growing SPS corals this is far more light than you will need. A smaller 70W or 150W fixture would be sufficient.

I'm running a 150w over a 12 gallon mixed reef...and it is overkill for everything but my SPS. It took weeks for the zoas and LPS to adjust.

DO NOT TAKE LIGHT ACCLIMATION LIGHTLY! (pun not intended lol)
