Nothing new lately, my job is keeping me on the road a lot. And when I'm home my wife's keeping me busy as well!lol I've been home 1 day a week for the last 3 weeks.

Working on my tank so I'll get pics soon. I did get a mag 7 pump used for $40. and a piece of dragons breath macro for $10 . It's in my other tank till I'm ready for it. Also got some 1 1/2" sparflex and parts to attach to my 90

That's awesome! what kind of seahorses are you gonna get?
i've had my 2 tiger striped ones for about a year now. They are so awesome!

Save yourself some grief next time, you can glue spaflex directly into pvc fittings. They actually don't recommend using barbed fittings on spaflex because it can compromise the integrity of the materials.

Man I wish I knew that sooner! Lol well I bought more than I needed . so I can still redo it and have plenty of hose. Would this be better you think?

I have seen many work fine without glue but I would just replace for piece of mind. You can get a true union or just glue it into a threaded fitting if you want ease of dismantling. (I would recommend the true union)

I redid the spa flex with glue and a union. Way easier!! But my sump is being done by a experienced acrylic tank builder. Said it might be a month till he gets it done. So now I'm just waiting to continue.
