Cannon is great when you can get to the foot. The last one in my big tank has its foot in a spot that I can't use a cannon. So this weekend we will be employing the blow and go method with a power head.
You can blow during the week too :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

That is my issue. I cannot get to the foot of most of them.

Wanting to dive into PH, I remembered the KH guardian uses PH and logs it, and keeps a "monitor" on the value.

I pulled the probe from the cup and dunked it into a cup of tank water last night at 10pm (1 hour after lights out) measured 7.9 (against 7.7 the machine was showing)

so its pretty close.

This am the machine was showing 7.5 (30 mins after lights on)

Before I do anything: I want to get an actual ph reading.

What I did and plan to do
Changed scrubber media, though color wasnt pink it was a different shade than fresh.

I want to plum a line out of the house to fresh air. Need to run 25-30 ft of airline hose.... also thinking about .... pvc with a blower fan etc. DUNNO yet. Spit balling

To you have a way to confirm the alk level? I found that once I pumped up my dosing and got it at 8 the ph has followed and also increased. No scrubber or airline running.

I ICP tested 7.8 recently and bumped to 8.5 . My tanks in a basement. So CO2 levels are probably slightly higher. Especially in winter with the pellet stove burning one room over.

Right on. My sump is also in basement but no pellet stove so yeah that's probably it.

Couple of updates....

Good:
-Tank is mostly recovered from the catastrophe
-Nutrients are stable! 0.06 P , 21 N (very close
1710899169395.png

Bad:
-Torch head jellied (random maybe), cut it off. should be good. Checked colony for worms, dipped coral rx, single tank treatment of cipro to knock anything back.
-Calcium tested 330-350? , Salinity 1.024-1.025 a tad low:::: Dosed 100ml calcium and some extra strong salt water, will continue to dose calcium up

The Cool:
MINI MAXI ATE A PEP SHRIMP , DAYYYYYYYYYYYYMMMMMM
