Almost have my 2nd tank up, final step is building the stand. I wanted to go with something simplistic/modern (sort of like the elos stands), big doors and no center brace.
Its my first stand build, was going to do 2x4, then considered 2x6 but with no access to a planer, I wasn't happy with the quality wood available to me. I finally settled on 3/4" maple plywood. I think I'm pretty satisfied with the design so far before I start cutting.....if anyone else could take a look to see if im missing anything major in terms of strength/stability, or any other ideas I can add. Only thing im changing is the internal side panels will be one whole sheet of ply instead of being cut out.
Thanks!
