I was wondering what I should use to clean algae off my acrylic I’ve been using a sponge but I then have to stick my arm in the tank which is a hassle. Any recommendations for a magnetic one?

Good question! Full arm gloves is another possibility.

The tunze algae magnet is probably a good option because it can't trap sand or scratch the tank

Ya I know to be careful around the bottom near the sand bed when I clean with the sponge. Will the scraper on the tunze scratch acrylic?

It comes with a set of short and long blades that can be swapped, and the tunze website says the short blades (plastic) are safe for acrylic
