With the mighty magnets yiu can do it with the tank full.

I’m aware but that’s just a convenience. Doing it empty would have been way easier. Also some of those scratches won’t be removable with the magnet alone. Going to need more elbow grease!

I don't know I watched a video and it looked pretty simple. The guys tank was like new and it was not hard.
